Justin began racing karts in 2007 at the age of 12. Justin raced at local PA tracks through 2011.

At the start of the 2011 season, Justin decided he wanted to advance his racing by moving to Legend cars. The year was spent dedicating as much time as possible for kart racing along with test driving, purchasing and preparing a Legend car for the 2012 season.
